Grand Manan Rotary Festival

The Rotary Club of Grand Manan Island organizes an annual Festival, the Grand Manan Rotary Festival. The main events fall at the end of July or beginning of August, depending on the year.

The core events in 2018 will take place from August 1 to August 6 in the village of Grand Harbour. Regular attractions include a craft festival, music events, awards presentations, comedy evening, "fire engine" pull, lobster supper and a parade! Each year has a different theme.

Additional activities such as a Bluegrass Band concert and a golf tournament are preliminary events leading up to the main Festival. Dates to be announced.

Summers End Folk Festival

The Summers End Folk Festival celebrates music and the arts as well as the closing of the summer season. SEFF is founded on creativity, the arts and bringing music to the community of Grand Manan.

Summers End, now in its seventh year, was started with the hopes of forming the basis of many ongoing opportunities and beginnings as well as a beacon for the arts community on the Island. At the heart of the festival you'll find two things, a love for good music as well as the people of this Grand Manan.

SEFF spans two days, August 17th and 18th 2018. It hosts a wide range of performers, both new and established. This year's festival will consist of 10 performers over two nights in an intimate outdoor setting, just steps away from the ocean.
The Summers End Folk Festival will be held outdoors at Gallaway's, located at 121 Rte 776. SEFF also has a Facebook page and you can buy tickets online on their web site.
